Sara Mandreja, LGPC
Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
Sara Mandreja, LGPC, is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor at Archway Counseling and Psychiatry Services. She works with people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences.
Sara has a particular interest in working with adults who experienced childhood trauma and continue to notice its effects later in life. These experiences can influence the way people see themselves, respond to emotions, form relationships, and navigate everyday challenges. Sara helps clients better understand these patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and work toward meaningful change.
Her therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. Sara understands that opening up in therapy is not always easy, particularly when discussing experiences that may have been difficult to share in the past. She strives to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
Sara does not believe therapy should follow a one-size-fits-all formula. She takes time to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals, then draws from evidence-based approaches to create treatment that fits the individual. Whether someone is working through the past, struggling with something happening today, or simply wants to better understand themselves, Sara meets clients where they are and helps them identify practical steps toward where they want to be.
